About Midas

Based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Midas Trust is a non governmental organization that is working towards making a difference in the lives of underprivileged people from rural areas and urban slums. With a holistic approach, we provide financial aid to the economically weaker sections of the society by supporting their education, medical treatments, meals or even jobs.

We are working towards providing relief to the poor by promoting various Social Services, Economic Services, Cultural Services and Educational Services. We also develop programs for Food for the Orphans, Blood Donation Camps and Disabled Children Upliftment. We promote all these causes with the support of the common people.

We provide a convenient and secure platform to people for making a difference in the lives of the disadvantaged section of India. Our programs help the donators to channelize their funds in the right direction so that these reach the people who are in real need. With the ultimate aim of emancipation of the underprivileged people from rural areas and urban slums, we are promoting various programs that pertain to Social Services, Economic Services, Cultural Services and Educational Services. Further, we also provide aid to the poor by arranging Food for the Orphans, Blood Donation Camps and programs for Disabled Children Upliftment.

For ascertaining the betterment of children belonging to the economically weaker sections of the society, we promote various educational services that include the following:

• Scholarship for students
• Distribution of school books to the children
• Scholarship/donation for rural school children
• Village education

We are working on the survey of a village called Vankanpada that is situated near Wada Taluka, a remote area in Thane District, Maharashtra, India. The village is socially backward and is inhabited by tribal people. We plan to uplift the standard of life of the village by studying the problems of the people living there. After careful study and research, we plan to undertake the following activities in the village:

• Establish schools and other educational facilities
• Arrange medical camps / facilities
• Implement drinking water projects
• Early identification, treatment and provision of aids and appliances for disabled people in the village through diagnostic camps and rehabilitation activities

We work in collaboration with the common people to make a difference in the life of the underprivileged people. Our NGO was founded by a group of visionary individuals whose common vision was to contribute towards the welfare of under privileged section of the society. With this vision in mind, the group of like-minded people has been working towards the upliftment of poor people through seeking the support of common people.
